What we do and how we do it is changing
In general, Old Man Film has become OMF, this web site replaces several of our existing domains and many email addresses will be closed. In particular OMF will not produce any more feature movies and OMF will become a true retirement hobby project, albeit with broadcast style and at industry standard.
No more OMF features.
Back in 2018 we said that there would be no more OMF features - and we meant it. In 2024 we did a government style U-turn but there were so many issues surrounding Down & Out production, not least being crew availability (and age) that this time it is definite.

If there is a demand then OMF will fulfil it
Through the Covid pandemic we supported the Salvation Army's Southport church every week with top quality interviews, bible readings and other content for on-line services. After 15 years at 'the Army', Janet & Ian now worship elsewhere and the Covid requirement is also long gone but OMF remains receptive to requests from local churches of any denomination for production of service content, web site video and other projects.

Fun, fun, fun . . . .
Years ago when little events cropped up like Danny Boyle's beach remembrance, Ian's trip to Edinburgh or Geoff's model railway in his attic, they were filmed as fun projects or to create a lasting archive. Usually they did not raise charity donations so a new title was needed and because the guys were all old, Dinosaur Shorts was eminently suitable The Ultimate Show being the first in OMF/Dinosaur new format (see Filmography).

Finishing what we started
Sounds was a grandiose project that became sidelined while we created Down & Out. At that point, two songs had been completed and two more were in postprod. Because we believe in the concept of bringing broadcast style music and biblical stories to churches, we intend to re-visit the two completed songs and also finish those in postprod.
Will there be any more?
Possibly. But that depends on many factors and if more are produced then they will be cast professionally as mini features.
